We are a new and innovative CTV OS challenging the status quo by working with a market leading OEM to provide content discovery for streaming platforms, as well as integrating FAST channels alongside traditional broadcast TV channels. We are gearing up for rapid expansion across European markets. 

Job Description:

We are looking for general practitioners of data, with a wide cross section of skills, ability and experience. 

To be successful in this role, you’ll be a data visualization wizard with the ability to bring data to life for the purpose of delivering compelling insights which help our business functions make confident decisions. To do this, you will partner with various teams within the business to understand their strategic goals. Using this understanding, you will develop actionable KPIs and support Data Engineering to manifest the data required to track these metrics. You will use your numerical / statistical training to detect significant patterns within the data, bringing these insights to the attention of the teams and Senior Management.

There is the opportunity to work across a number of subject areas, including general KPI development / tracking, highly intelligent targeted advertising, ad-operations, customer segmentation, user device navigation / product UX, etc

You will be the first member of the Data Analytics team, so will have a great opportunity to set-the-tone of the role within the business and define the tools / strategy for the Data Analytics function. Your energy and enthusiasm will be focused on creating a data democratic business. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Building engaging and intuitive BI dashboards and data visualizations
  • Accurately capture the data requirements that support the delivery of business objectives
  • Translate these requirements to the Data Engineering / Science teams and be responsible for their delivery
  • Proactively bring insights to the attention of the business teams with high degree of focus on driving revenue and growth opportunities
  • Become a trusted partner of the business teams you will be working with. You should be seen as a knowledge peer, with subject-matter-expertise in data
  • Bring new and interesting ideas on how to build data storytelling capabilities
  • KPI development and tracking - we own the measurement of the business


Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years professional experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Product Owner, Data Engineer or Data Scientist
  • A strong numerical background with a MS/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Science-related discipline
  • Experience in SQL is essential, with a high proficiency in Python
  • Ability to create tables and develop schemas that function efficiently, are optimized and scalable
  • Experience with statistical methodologies and A/B (hypothesis) testing is a huge plus
  • Hands-on experience using BI data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Open Source, etc)
  • A data storyteller, that can present data in a compelling and intuitive way
  • Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
